One thing that I’ve found to be extremely helpful in maintaining my cameras and accessories is having a dedicated case or trail camera bag to organize my gear. Personally, I have a couple dedicated carrying cases that I use for all of my trail cameras and accessories. This is great when I’m done for the year and picking up all of my cameras so I know that everything is organized and packed up in a single location. Same goes for setting up at the beginning of each year, I know that I can grab one of my bags which usually has anywhere from 4-6 cameras in it and that I’m going to have all of my straps, batteries, memory cards and cameras in one spot.
The Moultrie Camera Bag can hold up to 6 game cameras at once. It has a handy removable SD card case that can hold up to 24 memory cards. There are a number of additional external pockets for storage of batteries, straps, or other key accessories. They also added in a padded pocket for any additional electronics such as tablets or card viewers. Can you simply use a generic backpack or bag? Yes you can, but there is a lot of benefits with the efficiency of this design. I love this bag, purchased one of them last year and will likely be adding on two more for this year so I have different sets of cameras ready to go when I need them.
